Big Blue Report: Taming the Lions

Looking to the Final Home Game of the Season!!

    Looking Back Against the Cowboys:

The fans of the Giants understood why Jerry Reese put as much attention in the defenses during the offseason as he did. The defense forced three turnovers and held the Cowboys to seven points. Giants Head Coach Ben McAdoo was happy with the team’s effort: “What we did well, tremendous effort by the defense all night. We stayed in the moment the entire 60 minutes of the ball game. I really thought we put our foot down in the second half of the game. We tackled fundamentally sound. We held the offense to seven points, minimized explosive gains and forced turnovers. What we need to work on, we need to keep them under 100 yards rushing and keep them out of field goal range at the end of the first half.”

BSP Live Coverage of The Ravens-Giants

Follow Randy Zellea as we cover Giants-Ravens. He could be found on twitter at @randybsp and on Facebook @Randy Zellea. He will update Scoring Drives for you and give his opinions for you!

Game Notes:

-Baltimore leads the All Time series 3-1

-Eli Manning needs one win to reach 100 wins as a Starter. He will join only six others QB's in the history of the league to have a 100 wins and two Superbowl rings,

-Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: Needs 1 tackle for 350 for his career.

Hey Guys welcome to coverage of Giants Ravens from Metlife Stadium.

First scoring drive in the books and to be honest for the Giants Defense it was bend not break mentality. Held the Ravens to three points but the theme is not stopping the third down big plays. Flacco is a great QB for this so it should be very interested to see if the Defense could correct this.

It does not get any easier for Big Blue as they are now down 10-0 as a fumble by Odell Beckham Jr leads to an easy touchdown by the Ravens. Credit to Baltimore for capitalizing on the Giants errors which is what a good team is suppose to do.

The Ravens punched in the touchdown for an injury filled ravens squad who are looking to stop their own loosing streak. Giants went three and out.. Baltimore ball!

There are signs of life here in NY as Eli connected a touchdown pass to Robert Lewis Jr. This cuts th lead to 10-7. This was number 300 for his career. Eli took the team down the field at a strong pace in 13 plays.

Odell Beckham Jr went to the locker room and is questionable for return with a hip pointer. Updates still coming on his progress.

-Ok the first series after the half, Big blue puts three on the board. That is a great thing for Baltimore as they were able to get a key stop. Ravens body language is a little disturbing if you really look at it. We will see how this plays out .. Stay tuned!
